If you're under 20 and you're caught with any level of blood alcohol by the police, what is the minimum penalty?

Your licence will be suspended
$200 fine and 50 demerit points
$100 fine and 35 demerit points
Nothing for a first offence, then licence suspension for the second offence

For drivers under the age of 20, the alcohol limit is zero. If a person in this age group is found by the police to have any level of blood alcohol content while driving, the minimum penalty is a fine of 200 NZD and a deduction of 50 points from their driving record.
