When coming up to a stop sign, should you stop, and if so, where should you stop?

Behind the line
Where you can see traffic coming in both directions
You don't need to stop if you can see nothing's coming
With the front wheels of your vehicle on the yellow line

At intersections controlled by a stop sign: come to a complete stop, do not merely slow down. Stop where you can see vehicles approaching from all directions. Remain stopped until you yield to all other vehicles, including bicycles and motorcycles.
